Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find the FAQs along with some rules and regulations regarding escape room etiquette. If you have not been to an escape room in your life, please read our Faqs below or book now.

Are your escape rooms private?

FAQs – Our escape rooms are public with a private option. This means anyone can book with you unless you pay for the private option. Paying for the room to be private is a one time additional fee of $35.

How much does it cost?

FAQs – It is $35 per person including the tax. All Bookings are done on-line through our website or over the phone.

How early should we arrive for our game?

FAQs – Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your start time (but no more than 20)!! This is essential. You must arrive on time to participate. When you arrive you will receive a quick briefing on the game. Then the fun begins!

What is the difficulty level of your rooms?

FAQs – Many escape rooms have adopted the practice of posting difficulty levels on their websites. We believe that this practice is very misleading. People come from different walks of life. What is easy for you is hard for someone else and vice-versa. All of our rooms are challenging, yet not impossible. We want you to come and enjoy yourself with your group of friends and family. After all, this is entertainment, not an olympic sport.

Can Children Participate?

FAQs – Many children love to solve puzzles and clues. When you complete the on-line booking you are also signing a waiver for group and children under the age of 17. Anyone age 8-17 can participate alone with a waiver signed by parent or guardian. Waivers are available when you arrive. Anyone under the age of 8 years old, must be accompanied by an adult.

How many people can play at the same time?

FAQs – Wild West is 2 to 8 people. X-File is 2 to 8 people. Weird Science is 2 to 8 people. The Hellevator is 2 to 4 people & Poltergeiest is 2 to 8 people

What happens if we do not book all of the available tickets for a time frame?

FAQs – All bookings are public with an option to be private. What does this mean? It means that if you did not pay for a private experience other groups will be playing with you.

Is there a minimum number of participants needed per room?

A minimum of 2 participants are required to participate.

What happens if we don’t escape in time?

It’s a challenging game and many get close but do not get out in time. At the end of 60 minutes, the game master will unlock the room. You can ask questions. We ask that you do not reveal the answers to others that have not participated.

What should we bring with us?

You only need to bring your best wits and puzzle-solving ability. All items needed for solving the puzzles will be included in the room. Wear anything you are comfortable in, but the most activity you will be engaging in may be squatting down or getting on your knees to look under or to get a closer look at something. If you wear reading glasses, it might be advisable to bring them.

Can I do the escape room more than once?

You are welcome to do the room more than once, but the puzzles will only change if the room theme is changed. And we don’t want you spoiling the puzzle-solving fun for others on your team that might be doing it for the first time.

RESCHEDULING: You can reschedule (change your date and time) up to 4 hours in advance of your booking time. In order to reschedule, call the location directly at 609-225-2284

What are your escape rates for each room?

For some reason, this is a very controversial question for some guests. We do not track escape rates because we have been in the industry long enough to know that escape rates are false advertising. We do have a leaderboard on our website under the learn more section. This will list the top 25 escape times for each room.

Do you reccommend any good restaurantas in the area

Yes, Venturas Offshore Cafe is a beautiful rustic restaurant with great service and even better food. There is a bar too which always livens things up a little.

Tips and Suggestions

1. The surest way to escape is by communicating openly with everyone else in the room. Share clues you’ve uncovered. Work together to make connections. If you discover new information, be sure everyone in the room knows about it.

2. Follow the rules. Our staff will review the rules of the game with you before you begin, which include:

  • There is no need to lift or move heavy objects.
  • Never use force to try to open locked items.
  • Cell phones and other electronic devices must remain off and cannot be used inside the room.
  • There are no clues hidden in any electrical outlets.
  • You do not need to climb on anything to get clues.
  • Do not guess combinations!! Combinations have meanings from the game that need to be figured out.
  • Keep the games a mystery! Please do not reveal clues or answers to others.
